Come view "Lady B" At the Anacortes Boat & Yacht show slip C-37
"Lady B" is truly an exceptionally well maintained example of this popular, strongly constructed and proven long-range cruiser. Stored for the past 12 years always under-cover and in the fresh waters of Lake Union in Washington State when not cruising, she is currently located in Anacortes ready to go cruising the islands any places beyond with her 3,000 KNM range. "Lady B" is the perfect expedition yacht for a couple with friends or a family to hop aboard and go. The yacht's interior layout, with four double staterooms, galley-up, pilothouse helm station, day-head on the main deck level and a full beam walk-in engine room with full standing headroom leaves no wonder as to why this Jack Hargrave yacht design continues to be demanded by live-aboard passage-makers.

Beginning aft of the transom, a FBG swim platform enables ease of boarding the vessel from a tender or floating dock. A transom door with gate allows access to the cockpit with FBG sole and storage under. Up three steps and forward, is a "line-handling" deck and a zippered flap in the eisenglass allows access to the soft enclosed and covered aft-deck. The aft-deck may be "opened up" with wing-doors, roll-up eisenglass curtains aft and side windows which slide to open. This area is particularly pleasant for enjoying relaxed and casual dining for up to 10 persons, while enjoying the views of whatever scenic paradise your voyage has taken you too.
Dual hinged doors lead forward and into the carpeted main salon. On port-side, a stairway leads down to the very private master's stateroom aft which features a Queen-size bed on the center-line, large head with en-suite shower and tub, two large almost "walk-in" hanging lockers, 2 chests of drawers and a flat-screen SAT TV. The master's stateroom is separated and privatized from the guest accommodations by the full beam, walk-in engine room which is forward of the M/S. An additional well insulated storage locker(s) are installed in the companionway between the M/S and the E/R.
Back to the Salon, 2 comfortable arm-chairs with a chest of drawers in-between are on the starboard side and the entertainment center is all the way forward. Opposite the entertainment center on the port side is a leather sofa with a coffee table out front and dual side-tables w/ matching lamps. Just forward of this, is a counter with 3 bar-stools separating the galley from the salon. The galley being open to the salon enables casual dining and an open, friendly and inviting environment for the chef/cook, guests and/or crew. Across from the galley on the starboard side is a tall and large pantry locker and a day-head is just forward of this. Forward is the pilothouse with center-line helm, a long cushioned leather bench seat for the helmsperson and companions, port and starboard side doors, ladder to the fly-bridge and a stairway leading down to the forward guest accommodations.
Starting all the way forward and just aft of the chain locker is the 3rd Guest's Stateroom/Crew quarters with large over/under bunk berths, en-suite head with shower, a teak chest of drawers and dual hanging lockers. A companionway leads aft to the VIP and to the second guest's staterooms. Both of these staterooms have matching single twin berths, good storage for clothing and small Sylvania flat-screen TV's. The port-side (VIP) guest's stateroom has a private entrance into the spacious guest's head and shower, large cedar-lined hanging locker and drawer storage under each berth. This head is shared with the starboard-side 2nd guest's stateroom through a door leading in from the companionway. A stacked clothing washer and 240V dryer are housed inside a cabinet across from this head to the starboard side.
The fly-bridge is accessed via a teak ladder which leads up from the pilothouse. A custom hard-top with full eisenglas enclosure covers and protects the center-line helm station and guest's seating from the weather, The large boat-deck follows aft of the covered fly-bridge.
